The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our mental health services team. You will work directly with adults experiencing mental health challenges, supporting them to achieve their goals, develop skills, and maintain their wellbeing. Your role will involve building trusting relationships, encouraging independence, and promoting recovery in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support tailored to individual needs and recovery plans
- Assist with daily living activities and promote independence
- Encourage social inclusion and community involvement
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and family members
- Maintain accurate records and follow organisational policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting people with mental health issues
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and respect for individual differences
- Previous experience in mental health or social care is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
