Key Responsibilities

On a typical day, you will spend up to 7 hours supervising a group at a Community Payback unpaid work placement.

The position includes weekend shifts, and you will be expected to work both Saturday and Sunday each week, with alternative weekdays to be agreed.

Supervise work groups of offenders serving a community sentence, ensuring all tasks are carried out to the best of their ability.

Drive service vehicles to transport people or equipment as required.

Demonstrate good practice and support service users.

Maintain a higher rate of 50% for weekend days worked.

Key Requirements

Must hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence. Automatic driving licence only is not acceptable.

Must have the right to work in the UK (including, where applicable, current immigration status).

Fixed start time 08:00 AM and finish time 05:00 PM each day.

Availability to work weekends, with potential evening coverage.

Ability to drive to site locations and manage transport of people and equipment.

Completion of background and identity checks and security screening.

Salary and Working Pattern

Starting salary will be £28,064 per annum.

Standard full-time hours: 37 hours per week excluding unpaid breaks.

Part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing options are considered. Working hours and patterns will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
