Fixed Location Worker, Permanent contract, 1 × 30 hours per week. Flexible hours between 7:00–22:00, including weekends and bank holidays.
Salary: Grade 6 £25,995 – £26,409 per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time); Pay award pending.

Job Description
Support worker providing day‑to‑day care for adults with learning disability, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments in a supported living setting. Tasks include personal care assistance, promoting choice and control, and maximising independence. No prior formal care experience required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred support and care to meet individual needs.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and use of equipment for moving and handling.
- Promote independence and choice for residents.
- Adhere to relevant regulations, including Adult Safeguarding and Valuing People Now.
- Maintain accurate, clear records and use IT skills for documentation.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations, both independently and as part of a team.
- Participate in a rota covering evenings, weekends, and bank holidays; willing to attend training or meetings outside regular hours.
Qualifications & Skills
- Commitment to high‑quality, anti‑discriminatory care that maximises independence.
- Capable of using equipment to assist with moving and handling of service users.
- Effective communication, including alternative communication methods (Makaton, picture boards, signs).
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage workload under pressure.
- IT and written communication sufficient for complete and concise record keeping.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
