Clinical Support Assistant: Venepuncture & Data Care

Technical/Clinical Duties

Undertake venepuncture in line with OH policy, informing clients of results and undertaking any necessary follow up action.

Participate in audit for clinical practice and assist with data collection for research.

Ensure clear and accurate records are kept in line with government guidelines for records and record keeping.

Responsibility for the temperature recording of the drug refrigerators and routine care.

To liaise with senior OH Practitioners where results are outside of agreed parameters.
