Role Summary
Friendly, hardworking and caring person to work in the school kitchen ‘Broadway Bites’. Responsibilities include assisting the school cook, preparing and cooking meals, setting up the dining hall, serving meals, selecting menu choices and general cleaning and washing up duties.
Working Hours
Part‑time, 17.5 hours per week, from 9:45 am to 1:15 pm Monday to Friday, term time only, plus 5 inset days.
Responsibilities
- Assist the school cook in preparation and cooking of meals.
- Set up the dining hall.
- Serve meals.
- Select menu choices.
- Carry out cleaning and washing up duties.
Desirable Qualifications
- Recognised catering qualification.
- First‑aid qualification.
- Food hygiene qualification.
Desirable Experience
- Working in a catering environment.
- Working with primary aged children.
