Description
Winterberry Gardens is seeking a person responsible for troubleshooting and repairing company vehicles and equipment. The role is ideal for an entry‑level technician (lube tech) focused on performing basic maintenance such as oil changes, routine servicing, and general vehicle upkeep.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience
- Safety compliance; work with safety in mind and wear necessary personal protective equipment
- Team player
- Good mechanical comprehension
Job Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and routine servicing of vehicles and equipment
- Replace or assemble parts as assigned by work order or lead shop technician
- Work from service manuals, maintenance manuals, and construction equipment schematics
- Perform tasks with minimum supervision using experience and good judgment
- Operate all construction/maintenance equipment safely for its intended purpose
- Effectively communicate verbally with technical staff and other employees on machine problems or suggested improvements
- Possess a basic understanding of construction equipment systems and repair techniques
- Work effectively in a team environment and easily perform the role of team member
- Perform work utilizing safe practices and wear all necessary personal protective equipment
Compensation & Schedule
- $22 – $27 per hour (depending on experience)
- 50+ hours per week
