Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of support to pupils learning English as an additional language, primarily in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
Work independently to design and implement small group and 1:1 interventions to improve pupils’ English skills, taking pupils out of class when necessary.
Provide full support to the teaching team, working collaboratively to maintain high standards of classroom practice.
Qualifications
Degree qualified or hold a Level 2 or 3 Education / Childcare / Early Years qualification.
Experience working with children who have English as an additional language or a strong understanding of phonics is desirable.
Training & Support
Full support and training will be provided to enable success in the role.
Application
Interview will be held in W/C 29/06/2026 or sooner. Successful candidates will join the team from September 2026.
