Teacher of Business and/or Economics

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who is passionate about business and economics education.

Responsibilities

• Integrate real‑world news and geopolitics into teaching.
• Develop and enhance extra‑curricular provision, including organising school visits and guest speaker events.
• Deliver engaging lessons in the A Levels and GCSEs (Business and Economics).
• Use innovative teaching methods, including AI tools, scaffolding, and high‑quality feedback.
• Participate in continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Degree‑level qualification in Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) or relevant secondary teaching experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for integrating current events into the curriculum.
• Effective communication and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to the school’s ethos of lifelong learning and high achievement.
