Role: HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
Pay: £16.30 per hour which includes holiday pay (£14.54ph with accrued holiday pay)
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Work Pattern: Full time, contract, temp to perm position. Initially you will work on behalf of ourselves, then after a successful 13 week temp to perm period of 13 weeks you will join the client’s team in a permanent capacity.
Our client is a leading hazardous waste management and container reconditioning facility based in Trafford Park, Manchester. They are currently looking to recruit a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to drive their 18 tonne and 7.5 tonne vehicles as part of their growing team.
Key HGV Class 2 ADR Driver Responsibilities
- Collection and delivery of hazardous waste.
- Transporting drums, IBCs, and industrial packaging safely and efficiently.
- Completing vehicle checks and transport paperwork.
- Ensuring compliance with ADR and transport legislation.
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety.
- Assisting with loading/unloading where required.
- Providing excellent customer service on site visits.
Essential Requirements of HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
- ADR Licence (packages)
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of driver hours and transport regulations
- Previous hazardous waste or industrial transport experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
