We are looking for an experienced internal salesperson within our Castleford branch. This position requires candidates with experience within the electrical wholesale industry.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. Key duties include dealing with customer enquiries and orders, supplier liaison, stock control and proactive sales activities.
This position is ideally suited to candidates with experience within the Electrical Wholesale industry; however individuals who are looking for progression from their current roles will also be considered.
The position offers an excellent opportunity for career progression in an established and respected independent wholesaler operating from 62 branches throughout the country.
Duties
- Processing quotations & sales orders for customers.
- Working closely with the customer base, ensuring orders are completed accurately.
- To increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new customer accounts.
- Assist on the trade counter and incoming telephone calls.
- Assist with managing stock levels and ordering stock from manufacturers.
Ideal person
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role (Wholesale or trade merchant)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attractive base salary (Negotiable based on experience)
