The Role:
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting both retail customers and the workshop by ensuring parts are supplied accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling customer and technician parts enquiries both in person and over the phone
Processing parts orders from enquiry through to delivery
Advising customers on product availability, pricing and suitable parts solutions
Picking, packing and dispatching parts accurately
Maintaining stock control and inventory records
Supporting the achievement of parts sales targets through upselling where appropriate
Working closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and servicing
Ensuring the parts department remains organised, compliant and customer focused
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous customer service experience is essential
Parts Advisor, Parts Sales or automotive aftersales experience would be advantageous
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software
