Role Description
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Central London. The role involves the maintenance, installation, and inspection of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. You will also be responsible for testing fire suppression systems, troubleshooting and repairing technical issues, and ensuring life safety measures are effectively implemented. Regular communication with clients and accurate record-keeping are expected.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Fire Protection Engineering and Fire Suppression Systems
- Expertise in Fire Safety and Life Safety protocols
- Proficiency in Safety Engineering practices
- Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and on-site as part of a team
- Up-to-date knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire safety and engineering (e.g., FIA Units, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Driving license and willingness to travel within the Central London area for work
