Junior Lawyer

Overview

We’re recruiting a Junior Lawyer to join our Legal Services team at Milton Keynes City Council on a 12-month fixed‑term contract. This is a rewarding role for someone looking to build their legal career while doing work that really matters to our city and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support adult safeguarding work across the council, helping to protect vulnerable people and ensuring decisions are made in the best interests of residents.
• Manage your own caseload and contribute to high‑quality legal advice that supports services to run effectively.
• Help ensure people are protected, supported and able to live with dignity and independence within Adult Social Care.

Work Arrangement

Potential for home working following an assessment. Home‑based roles require a minimum of one day per week working from the office or site.
