Senior Facilities Engineer

Senior Facilities Engineer role based in Tewkesbury, within a manufacturing setting. The position is permanent with earning potential of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum plus overtime at premium rates.

The Role

Working as a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain site services including HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, and utilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
• Support infrastructure upgrades and site improvement projects
• Manage contractors, permits to work, and ensure compliance
• Monitor facility performance and minimise downtime
• Work closely with production and engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records

Candidate Requirements

• Strong facilities or maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in facilities or maintenance engineering within manufacturing
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical knowledge
• Experience with PPM systems and maintenance planning
• Knowledge of contractor management and compliance processes
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations

Shift Pattern & Pay

• Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 – £20.00 – £22.00 per hour
• Mid Shift: 14:00 – 22:30 – 20% shift allowance (£24.00 – £26.40 per hour)
• Overtime: Paid at a premium rate after 40 hours
