Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and reports at different project stages
- Supporting procurement strategy, tender documentation and tender analysis
- Managing valuations, change control and cost reporting
- Supporting contract administration and commercial management
- Preparing and agreeing final accounts
- Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants and project teams
- Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the Oxford cost management team
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious and client-focused, with a desire to keep developing.
- Experience in cost management, quantity surveying or cost estimating
- Relevant industry experience within construction consultancy or contractor environments
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of project cost control
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Confidence working with clients and wider project teams
- A positive, inclusive approach and an interest in supporting team success
- The ability to manage priorities across varied projects
- A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
Qualifications
- A RICS accredited qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related built environment discipline
- Professional membership of the RICS (MRICS or FRICS) or
- Significant progress towards RICS APC
