Senior Project Manager – Programme & Project Management
Location: London.
Key responsibilities
- Managing complex building projects across sectors including life sciences, education, healthcare and other complex buildings.
- Overseeing multidisciplinary design teams and contractor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Administrating contracts with clients, partners and suppliers while developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Identifying and mitigating reputational and commercial risks.
- Leading project meetings and monitoring project progress.
- Supporting governance processes, business case development and gateway approvals.
Requirements
- Demonstrable project management experience in the delivery of complex building projects, with experience of the design, procurement and construction stages of a project.
- A degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, construction management, project management or quantity surveying) and membership of a relevant professional body such as APM, RICS, ICE, RIBA or CIOB.
- Knowledge of advisory and consulting disciplines, including bidding and work winning with cross‑functional applications of services and skills.
- Background in managing client and stakeholder engagement in large or complex organisational environments, with effective communication to determine requirements and integrate engagement into the project.
- Team leadership/management experience.
- UK Government SC security clearance, or the ability to obtain SC clearance, is required due to the sensitive nature of projects in the science sector.
