Role in Brief

An opportunity has arisen to join the Business Support team, providing assistance to the wider firm with workflows and other administrative duties, and serving as a Business Support Champion for the Cloud Accounting team. This role will be based in Blackburn, with one day per week required in the Bury office.

This is an ideal opportunity for an established office support candidate, working as part of a wider support team in a fast‑paced role with an eye for detail; someone who is always keen to take on new tasks and use their initiative. The successful applicant will provide excellent service to clients in accordance with the firm’s values, procedures, prevailing legislation, and good professional practice, meeting or exceeding client expectations and needs.

What the role involves

  • Undertake administrative duties for the wider firm, including all client‑facing administration and client take‑on procedures.
  • Generate letters and prepare final signed account packages to send to clients.
  • Assist with mail shots and ad‑hoc projects.
  • Provide support with printing, photocopying and binding.
  • Undertake any other administration duties required to support the efficient operation of the team.
  • Assist on reception during busy periods, periods of sick leave and holidays.
  • Opportunity to progress to PA duties as the role evolves.
  • Work closely with the Cloud Accounting team as a Business Support Champion to enhance administration efficiencies and client service.
  • Manage email inboxes for the Cloud Accounting Director and Partner.
