Founding Software Engineer – Seeing Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines for autonomous flight control and target recognition.
• Develop and maintain embedded software on modular drone hardware, ensuring real‑time performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules into a cohesive system.
• Design and execute rigorous testing protocols, including simulation, field trials, and safety validation.
• Drive continuous improvement of AI models, leveraging data from flight operations to enhance accuracy and robustness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong background in embedded C/C++ and real‑time operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with UAV or drone platforms and related sensor suites.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.
