We’re seeking an enthusiastic Application Support Specialist to join a well‑established financial services organisation based in Milton Keynes, providing hands‑on support for business‑critical systems.
About the Role
You’ll play a key part in keeping business systems running smoothly, covering user administration, investigating and resolving technical issues, and helping to improve system performance. You’ll work closely with colleagues across different teams and provide clear, friendly support to end‑users when needed.
- Previous experience in application, technical, or business systems support
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing root causes
- Basic understanding of databases (e.g. running or interpreting simple queries)
- Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non‑technical users
- Comfortable picking up new platforms and systems quickly
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Zendesk
- Experience with SQL Server
- Familiarity with core banking platforms
