We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated senior clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist with strong leadership skills to join our small and friendly team of clinicians at Here for You. The role involves delivering individual and team psychological interventions to NHS and social care staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of workshops and individual psychological support sessions to staff.
• Provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to referred staff.
• Offer specialist post‑incident support to teams and individuals exposed to trauma.
• Develop and run workshops using psychoeducational and reflective practice skills based on evidence‑based research.
• Create and deliver bespoke sessions to referred teams.
• Ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and service functioning through audit, research and service development activities.
• Proactively outreach to identified at‑risk groups of staff.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Clinical Lead and the Head of Staff Support to develop the service across the system and with partner organisations.
• Provide supervision to other members of the Here for You team as agreed with the Head of Staff Support.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered psychologist or NMC mental health nurse or Social Work England registered mental health social worker with BABCP accreditation.
• Experience working within secondary care mental health services.
• Training in reflective practice, CFT or post‑incident support.
• Extensive experience working on NHS mental health services.
• Subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975; a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the role.

Salary: £59,798 to £67,020 a year (incl. 5% fringe HCAS, pa, pro rata).
