Mechanical Design Engineer

Up to £512 per day Inside IR35
Mechanical Design Engineer is required to work for a world‑class advanced technology team delivering cutting‑edge projects across motorsport and high‑performance automotive applications.
You will lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components, working across a variety of advanced technology projects. You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from clean‑sheet design and concept generation through development, validation, testing, and final product introduction.
Required Skills
- Strong 3D CAD experience, ideally using Siemens NX.
- Excellent understanding of engineering fundamentals and first‑principles design.
- Experience designing complex mechanical components and systems.
- Strong appreciation of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture.
- Experience within motorsport, automotive, electrification, or advanced technology.
