Hours: 50 Hours Per Week

Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

Overview

Leggwork are partnering with a long-established and highly respected contractor operating across Water Infrastructure and Civil Engineering throughout the South West. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join their specialist team, supporting the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of critical pumping systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands‑on engineer looking for long‑term stability, technical variety and genuine career development within a business that continues to invest heavily in its people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain and repair a range of pumping systems
  • Work on Grundfos, Flygt, borehole and UV filtration equipment
  • Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Service motors, pipework and associated pumping infrastructure
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance works
  • Support project delivery across multiple sites throughout the South West
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard

Requirements

  • Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining pump systems
  • Strong mechanical fault‑finding and repair capabilities
  • Experience working with Grundfos, Flygt, borehole or UV filtration systems desirable
  • Electrical knowledge of control panels, commissioning and fault diagnosis advantageous
  • Comfortable working within a site‑based 50‑hour working week
  • Full UK Driving Licence
