Position Overview
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring our leisure facilities meet high brand standards. This role focuses on balancing complex live‑environment logistics, strict aesthetic requirements, and aggressive timelines without disrupting ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end execution of projects, maintaining detailed master schedules and formulating phasing plans to minimize operational disruption.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, brand representatives, operations teams, and 3rd party consultants, architects, and engineers.
- Govern project P&L, monitor capital spend, oversee procurement—including long‑lead‑time equipment and FF&E—and manage commercial risks by ensuring proper contractual documentation.
- Maintain rigorous zero‑defect quality control, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act, CDM regulations, and health and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
5 to 7 years as a construction Project Manager with a background in complex, live‑environment refurbishments (e.g., pool‑plant systems, wet‑side changing rooms).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred. Relevant certifications PMP, PRINCE2, or chartered status such as CIOB, RICS, and safety credentials IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS are highly desirable.
Technical Expertise
Strong background in leisure‑specific MEP installations, including pool plant and HVAC.
Core Competencies
Proven ability in fast‑track delivery, commercial negotiation, and navigating complex design‑site conflicts.
