The Company

This civil engineering contractor operates in the capacity of principal contractor and subcontractor across the South East for circa 150 different clientsdelivering fast-track projects and longer term schemes (£5,000 – £5 million in value).

The Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in this business you will be responsible for managing anything from 2-10 schemes concurrently and 2-3 of your own key accounts. Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Creating cost estimates from schedules and preparing tender documents.
• Contract oversight
• Final accounting
• Payment applications
• Agreement and settlement of accounts
• Monthly reporting

What are they looking for

• Someone with 2 years experience in a comparable position.
• Qualified to HNC standard or above in construction.
• Drivers licence is essential as you will be visiting projects and clients.
