Quality Control Inspector

Play a key role in maintaining standards across production lines, driving quality improvements, and supporting health & safety. This Permanent position requires a proactive and detail-focused Quality Assurance & Quality Control Inspector to support operations across three production lines.

Job compensation is £30,000–£35,000 per annum, with company pension (inc. life insurance & income protection), increased holiday allowance, annual profit share, EAP support, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on finished goods and work‑in‑progress
• Identify defects, non‑conformance, and reject unsuitable products
• Record findings accurately and maintain documentation
• Investigate issues and support root cause analysis
• Work collaboratively to implement corrective actions
• Monitor production standards and reduce waste
• Carry out audits and ensure compliance with procedures
• Promote a strong quality culture

Candidate requirements

• Experience in QA, QC, or manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail and decision‑making confidence
• Effective problem‑solving and analytical ability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organised with accurate record‑keeping
• Awareness of health and safety in manufacturing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Hands‑on and proactive approach
