Overview

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a number of IPS Employment Specialists within Birmingham for a market leading Welfare to Work provider. The role involves supporting clients with mental health needs into employment within their communities. These are full‑time permanent positions paying between £29,500 and £37,700 depending on experience and skills. The role will involve working within a clinical setting and engaging participants in the community. Hybrid working is offered depending on business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of 25 participants into sustainable employment
  • Conducting needs and skills analysis of each participant to ensure suitable roles are matched to
  • Assisting with CV development and interview techniques
  • Providing post-placement support to each participant to ensure sustainable employment
  • Engaging employers to source suitable work opportunities for participants
  • Uploading and maintaining participant data to track progress

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of supporting individuals with various barriers into sustainable employment
  • Experience in engaging employers to source work opportunities
  • Worked within a target‑driven environment
  • Ideally worked within a mental health setting or with mental health clients
  • A minimum of a grade C in Maths and English or equivalent
  • The ability to use various systems competently
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to their own car
