Facilities Operative (cleaning)
We are recruiting for Facilities Operatives at Deal Hospital. The posts involve working an average of 25 hours per week on a 2‑week rota and alternate weekends. Shift times may vary due to service needs, so a degree of flexibility is required.
Closing date is 02 July 2026.
The hourly rate in this role will be £12.92. Weekend and Bank Holidays will attract enhanced hourly pay.

Main duties of the job
- Perform hands‑on cleaning duties, including enhanced and periodic cleaning training, NHS national cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training, COSHH, waste management and basic catering tasks.
Requirements
- Experience within the Commercial Cleaning industry welcomed.
- Full UK driving licence or EU driving licence (where driving is required).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom with documentary evidence.
Knowledge
- Ability to use IT systems and databases.
- Sound communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience
- Recent cleaning experience.
Qualifications
- Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 2 or equivalent level of experience.
