Role
Ground Maintenance Operative – Location: Yeovil – Pay: £13.45 PAYE (inc Holiday Pay) | £17.26 per hour (Ltd via Umbrella). Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday.
Service Care Solutions has an exciting opportunity working in partnership with a Housing Association that has a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team on a temporary contract, covering the Yeovil and surrounding areas of Somerset. We are looking for a proactive, great team player with a good eye for detail who is looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
Working within a team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of external communal areas, grass, shrubs, and hedges. You may also be required to undertake soft landscaping and minor tree work. You will cover sites across Berkshire and have the flexibility to plan your workload within a fortnightly round.
Other details: a company van is provided for travel during work hours. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and well‑driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and diverse team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Practical amenity horticultural knowledge and experience
- PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
- NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)
- A full driver’s licence (towing licence desirable)
