Are you looking for a full-time production role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established and growing company in Castle Donington?
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for the manual assembly of lighting units using a variety of handheld tools and equipment. You will work as part of a supportive production team, following detailed assembly instructions and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling lighting fixtures and components accurately and efficiently
- Using handheld tools and assembly equipment safely
- Carrying out basic electrical wiring and connections as required
- Following technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules
- Conducting quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets

Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.71 for this role. Holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year (pro rata). We do not accept visa sponsorship.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. Hours are 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 15:30 on Fridays.

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment is desirable
- Electrical assembly experience or an understanding of electrical safety
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to carry out detailed, precise work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
