Reception & Security Support Officer
Location: Wrexham, UK – Kelloggs
Pay: £30,826 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm
Responsibilities:
- Support both reception and security lodge operations, adapting to operational requirements and business needs.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in accordance with site procedures and client requirements.
- Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service for employees, visitors, contractors, drivers and VIP guests.
- Provide a switchboard service for all incoming calls.
- Provide reception or lodge cover during periods of annual leave, sickness absence and other planned or unplanned absences.
- Support the management of vehicle arrivals and departures, assisting drivers with site access requirements and paperwork.
- Provide support and assistance during First Aid and emergency incidents, ensuring appropriate escalation and reporting.
- Operate and monitor site communication systems, telephones, radios and serve as the first site point of contact.
Qualifications:
- Valid SIA licence & Full First Aid.
- Driving licence.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Good working knowledge of security operations and security systems.
- Ability to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and events.
- Right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
- Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken.
