Class 1 Night Driver

HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Immediate Starts – Hereford, Herefordshire

Pay rates

• Days: Monday to Friday £21.50 per hour
• Nights: Monday to Friday £24 per hour

Your hourly pay rate is £21.50 and you will accrue £2.60 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.

Duties

• Trunking to RDCs and other depots
• No handball involved apart from pulling the curtain back
• Day and night shifts available – home daily (no tramping required)
• Modern, well looked after trucks
• A positive mentality

Requirements

• A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving Licence
• 6 months experience is essential for this role
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
• Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law, up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average
