UK Transport Driver – Vehicle Checks, Loads & 24/7 Coverage

Job Responsibilities

• Work within company quality, health & safety and environmental procedures.
• Perform daily checks on the vehicles.
• Safely load/unload vehicles and couple up trailers.
• Deliver and collect company equipment to and from all areas of the UK.
• Complete all necessary worksheets and hire documentation.
• Collect general parts from suppliers when necessary.
• Maintain tachograph and other legal requirements involved with modern day driving on UK roads and highways.
• Provide 24/7 driver cover as required in line with driving hours legalities.
• When not driving, keep the company database, Protean system, up to date.
• Perform general maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform workshop duties as required.
