Retail Merchandiser

Location: Manchester

Salary: £14.29 – £15.41 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 – £13.75 per hour + £1.54 – £1.66 holiday pay). (Access to wages from 3 days, Immediate Start, Holiday Pay)

Position Overview

Are you looking for a role where you will be involved in high profile projects for some of the UK’s leading grocery supermarkets? We have Retail Merchandiser opportunities that offer flexible working patterns and a job where each day and week is different.

Responsibilities

• Work carried out in a variety of retail stores with variable travel; having your own vehicle is advantageous.
• Team-based work led by a Team Manager or Store Management; must work at a fast pace and meet high standards.
• Duties include de‑merchandising and remerchandising to planograms, cleaning fixtures where required.
• Reprofiling fixtures to ensure products are shoppable.
• Transporting stock from warehouse to shop floor.
• Supporting the store with replenishment.
• Shifts between 10-12 hours, days and nights (mostly nights). Access to work via smartphone via Field Power platform to set availability and accept shifts.
• Clock in and out using smartphone via RAS Dashboard.
• Travel may be involved when local work not available; accommodation may be provided if required to stay away from home.

Key Skills / Experience Required

• An eye for detail.
• General level of fitness as manual handling and lifting will be involved.
• Hard working and ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in retail, although training will be provided.
• Problem solving and a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Must be able to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights when required. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
