This specialist SEMH school provides a calm, supportive and highly structured learning environment for primary and secondary-aged pupils with autism and associated needs, including ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs and behavioural challenges. With a strong emphasis on personalised learning and high expectations, pupils are supported to develop independence, emotional regulation, life skills and positive learning behaviours. The school delivers a holistic and therapeutic approach where every day is a fresh start. Learning is tailored to individual needs, helping pupils reflect, build self-esteem and make progress both academically and personally.

Position Details

  • Role: SEMH Teacher (Primary & Secondary)
  • Salary: M1-UPS3 teacher scale
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:15am – 4:30pm
  • Teaching primary and secondary SEMH learners

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching or supporting SEMH/ASC learners (desirable)
  • Calm, resilient and empathetic approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable learners to succeed
