Introduction/Overview

VANRATH is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing organisation seeking to appoint an HR Consultant on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, providing HR support and guidance across a broad range of people-related matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, delivering practical HR solutions, supporting employee relations matters, and contributing to a variety of HR projects and initiatives.

About You / Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a HR Advisory, HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or similar HR role
  • Good knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • CIPD qualification, working towards CIPD, or equivalent experience desirable
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice and support across a range of employee relations and people management matters
  • Build positive working relationships and act as a trusted point of contact for HR-related queries
  • Support managers and stakeholders with the application of HR policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and retention activities
  • Assist with HR projects and organisational initiatives, ensuring effective delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and practices
  • Research and recommend practical solutions to support business and people objectives
  • Prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation, reports, and records
  • Ensure HR activities are delivered in line with relevant employment legislation and organisational requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality HR service and positive stakeholder experience
