We are seeking an organised, proactive and adaptable Business Support Officer to join our team on a part time basis, 22.25 hours per week over 3 days, preferably Monday-Wednesday. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services across the organisation during business hours of 9.00am-5.00pm.
About the role
Working as part of the wider Finance and Corporate Services team, you will provide flexible administrative support across the organisation, helping to ensure efficient operations, strong governance and an excellent service experience for internal and external stakeholders.
This is a varied post offering exposure to a wide range of business functions, including human resources, finance, training, IT, facilities and general administration. Training and support will be provided.
About you
Youll bring:
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent) AND at least 2 years experience in a business support roleORat least 4 years experience in a business support role
- ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team in prioritising tasks, meeting challenging deadlines and displaying high levels of initiative and judgement
- knowledge and experience of business support functions such as finance, human resources, IT, training, facilities, and/or administrative services
- competency in business software packages and ability to provide ICT support and problem solving
- excellent communication skills with ability to deliver high quality customer service
A business, finance or human resources related qualification as well as experience of collaborative working in partnership with external stakeholders would be advantageous.
