Job Description:We are looking for a detail focused Online Sales Assistant to support our online customers as they place orders for industrial components on our website. Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and managing online orders from multiple sales channels
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries via email, web chat and telephone
- Preparing quotations and following up opportunities where appropriate
- Updating customers on order progress, deliveries and product availability
- Resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Maintaining accurate customer and order records
- Adding new products, images and content to company websites and online marketplaces
- Assisting with the optimisation and day-to-day management of e-commerce platforms
- Supporting the wider sales team in identifying opportunities to grow online sales
Desirable:
- Experience using eBay, Amazon, Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Experience maintaining product listings or website content
- Previous experience within an industrial, engineering or technical products environment
