Deputy Site Manager

Location: Tottenham, North London.Pay: Outer London Pay Scale 6 (18‑20) (£35,520–£36,585).

Contract: 52 weeks full‑time fixed term, 2 years, start September 2026.

Park View is a high‑performing, diverse and inclusive community school. We are launching a new Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Additional Resource Provision (ARP) in Haringey and require a Deputy Site Manager to work across the main site and the ARP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in the day‑to‑day management of both school sites.
  • Deputise for the Site Manager during periods of absence.
  • Act as a keyholder and respond to emergency call‑outs when required.
  • Ensure the security of the premises, including alarms, access control and routine site checks.
  • Undertake minor repairs, maintenance and redecoration work.
  • Monitor heating, lighting, ventilation and other site services.
  • Carry out routine health and safety inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise cleaning operations and monitor cleaning standards.
  • Liaise with contractors and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health and safety requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in a site maintenance, caretaking or facilities management role.
  • Practical maintenance skills and the ability to undertake a range of repairs and site duties.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards across all aspects of site management.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
