Senior Software Engineer | Typescript/PHP | Up to £100k
We’re partnered with a high-growth SaaS business hiring a further Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team building software that supports complex operational and compliance workflows at scale.
This is a company with a low-ego engineering culture; senior developers are trusted with ownership, technical input, architectural decision-making and close collaboration across the wider business. Their current stack is PHP & TypeScript based, and they’re also embracing AI in a practical way, with Claude Code heavily embedded into core engineering workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and improving core platform features across the stack with Typescript & PHP
- Designing scalable solutions and influencing architecture
- Working closely with Product and stakeholders to solve real user problems
- Improving engineering standards, quality and delivery processes
- Demonstrable experience embracing and utilising AI tooling to enhance workflows
- Contributing as a senior voice within a collaborative team
What They’re Looking For
- Strong senior‑level software engineering experience with an eye for software architecture
- Commercial PHP and Typescript experience
- Experience designing systems and making sound technical decisions
- Product mindset with a focus on outcomes
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Positive attitude toward AI‑assisted engineering
