About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in shaping our cloud infrastructure strategy and contributing to technology roadmaps.
- Help define and evolve Azure cloud standards, reference architectures, and DevOps practices across the organisation.
- Identify and remove process inefficiencies to improve delivery flow and operational performance.
- Drive automation across infrastructure, testing, and delivery pipelines to shorten feedback and deployment cycles.
- Deliver solutions that meet customer needs, while iterating based on feedback and learning.
- Ensure smooth, efficient flow of work from concept to delivery aligned with business priorities.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cloud Infrastructure Architecture.
- Ability to work in multi‑disciplinary teams, contributing beyond your core skillset.
- Proven experience in designing complex, scalable architectures in an agile environment.
- Mindset of constant improvement and upskilling, individually and for the team.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work within agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, and continuously deliver incremental value.
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft stack (Azure, M365) preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid experience with lean, agile, and DevOps practices.
Technical Skills (should include some of the following)
- Azure Compute: VMs, VMSS, App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, etc.
- Azure Networking: ExpressRoute, Virtual Network, ASG/NSG, Front Door, Azure Firewall, DNS, UDR, Traffic Manager.
- Azure Management & Governance: Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, Bastion, Automation, Backup, ASR, Azure Monitor, Defender.
- Azure Storage: Blob, Disks, Files.
- Azure Migrations: Azure Migrate, 3rd‑party tools.
- DevOps Tools: Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub.
- Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure disciplines: Microsoft Technologies, Databases, LAN/WAN/MAN, Routing, Firewall, Wireless, IDS/IPS, SASE, VPN services, Load Balancing, and IT Security.
Nice to Have
- Awareness or experience with AI architecture concepts, such as designing cloud infrastructure to support AI/ML workloads, understanding of AI platform services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services), and familiarity with data pipelines and model deployment in cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Identity/Governance (IAM) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in architecture or cloud technologies (e.g., TOGAF, AZ‑104 / AZ‑400, AZ‑303/304/305).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
