Rotational Clinical / Rotational Specialist Pharmacist – Hinchingbrooke & Peterborough
Are you looking for the next step in your pharmacy career? We have an opportunity to join our rotational pharmacist team on our band 6 and band 7 pathway. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the hospital where you will be involved in the delivery of a variety of clinical and core services provided by the pharmacy department.
The pharmacy department at North West Anglia Foundation Trust is keen to create an environment in which we can nurture and grow our own talent. A structured competency programme supports the progression of band 6 pharmacists into band 7 posts, enabling progression without an additional recruitment process if the programme requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Ward pharmacist role for an assigned ward
- Dispensary work
- Medicines information
- Aseptic services
- Provision of pharmaceutical services to external community sites
- Ability to drive within the locality
- Participation in in‑house training and competency assessment programme
- Opportunity to study for the Post Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice and Non‑Medical Prescribing
Professional Development
Successful candidates may enrol on the competency programme for progression to band 7 and may study for the Post Graduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice.
