Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – SHEFFIELD (South) – Salary to £50K + benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a first opinion small animal veterinary practice located south of the city of Sheffield area.

Job Opportunity

• Excellent full time opportunity working 40 hours week with 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH
• Practice is modern with state‑of‑the‑art equipment; digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, in‑house lab facilities etc.
• Caseload is varied with a good mix of consulting and surgeries.
• Ideally you will have some experience in practice and be confident with routine medicine and surgical procedures.
• Role offers excellent development opportunities and with support and funding for certificates.
• You will join a friendly and supportive team of 4 Vets.
• Well located to the south of the City of Sheffield with easy M1 motorway access and on the edge of the Peak District with beautiful surroundings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Some experience in practice.
• Confident with routine medicine and surgical procedures.
