Proclinical is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Medical Writer to join a dynamic team focused on rare diseases and supporting the launch of a drug in the USA and Europe. This role involves creating a variety of high-quality deliverables, including manuscripts, congress publications, slide decks, infographics, patient-focused materials, and meeting reports. The position offers significant client interaction and the chance to work with global clients on diverse projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality scientific content across various deliverables such as manuscripts, congress publications, slide decks, infographics, and patient-focused materials.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on team members’ work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Engage in client interactions, building strong relationships and understanding their communication needs.
  • Contribute to congress reporting and support meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with global clients, including those in the US and Europe, on diverse projects related to rare diseases and oncology.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical writing, particularly within medical communications or consultancy settings.
  • Strong ability to create clear, accurate, and engaging scientific content tailored to various audiences.
  • Experience in reviewing and mentoring team members to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Comfortable with substantial client interaction and capable of managing client expectations effectively.
  • Familiarity with rare diseases, oncology, or related therapy areas is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
