Senior Integration Engineer £70,000–£80,000 | Hybrid (2 days per week in London)
A leading international education group is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join its growing technology team. Supporting a global network of schools, this role will be responsible for designing, building and supporting enterprise integrations across core business and educational platforms.
You will lead the delivery of scalable, secure and resilient integration solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, while helping to establish integration standards, best practices and operational excellence across the organisation. The role also includes leadership of a small team of integration engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus and API Management.
- Develop API-led, event-driven and orchestrated integration solutions across student systems, finance, HR, CRM and third-party platforms.
- Define integration standards, reusable patterns and deployment approaches.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Monitor and support production integrations, troubleshooting complex issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of integration engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in integration engineering or enterprise integration roles.
- Strong expertise in Azure integration services, including Logic Apps, ADF, Service Bus and APIM.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and cloud security principles.
- Experience leading teams and working with senior stakeholders in complex environments.
