As a Field Service Engineer your main responsibility is to repair customer instruments ensuring that the customer receives the best support according to their needs. You are responsible for installation, training (after developing skills and experience), service and repair of company products at customer premises and service centre. Correctly administrate and further support 2nd‑level support as needed. Support the customer in maintaining their equipment so it runs effectively. You will work as part of a high‑functioning team including Service Admin and Technical Support.

This role is field‑based and will cover mainly Southern England and also support other regions in the UK when required, including overnight stays.

What You Bring

  • Electronic Engineering Diploma or equivalent engineering qualification and the ability to quickly take on new technologies.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing environment; technical experience in the diagnostic market will be an advantage.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Up‑to‑date computer knowledge in both software and hardware, including PC‑based systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of English, both verbal and written, and ability to read and understand training material, technical updates and instrument manuals.
