Product Engineer

Company: Dex
Apply for the Product Engineer
Location: London
Job Description:

The role

The world’s largest companies run on complex, often bespoke, ERP systems. This company is building the AI operating system to absorb that complexity, starting with SAP. They are tackling a problem that gates multi‑billion dollar migrations, with significant Series A funding from leading investors and exploding inbound demand from global enterprises. The team is small, highly technical, and built by experienced operators from top‑tier tech companies.

The work

  • Design and ship agentic AI systems that map, analyse, and automate complex processes within enterprise ERP environments.
  • Own products from initial customer research and conceptualisation through to production deployment and iteration.
  • Engage directly with global enterprise customers to understand their pain points and translate them into product features.
  • Build across a modern stack (Kotlin, React, Temporal, PortKey) and a specialised in‑house LLM harness, ensuring high velocity and future flexibility.
  • Drive the reliability, governance, and evaluation frameworks for agentic systems operating in mission‑critical enterprise contexts.

What You Bring

  • You’ve shipped agentic AI systems to production and can articulate how you handled their failure modes, evaluations, and tool design.
  • A default reach for agentic solutions, with a portfolio of production work or side projects to demonstrate this.
  • Strong, pragmatic engineering fundamentals. Language or framework familiarity matters less than your problem‑solving ability and track record.
  • Sharp product instincts and a drive to solve customer problems, comfortable speaking to enterprise users and shaping product direction.
  • Obsession with how AI systems behave, fail, and improve, treating reliability and governance as first‑class engineering problems.
  • You are based in London and want to work in the office five days a week.
