We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Construction and Compliance H&S Manager to join our Health, Safety and Fire Team at Birmingham Airport. This role will support and business partner our Development Team with a dotted line to the Head of Development. This role will play a key part in ensuring that our ambitious development programme is delivered safely but at pace. Leaning into the Development Teams to ensure everyone’s safety, including the millions of passengers who pass through our airport annually. You will play an important role in providing professional advice, supporting statutory compliance, and contributing to strategic safety initiatives and cultural change across the wider airport community. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on safety performance and culture within a dynamic and fast‑paced airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- :Act as a health and safety generalist, supporting the management of health, safety and fire risk
- sTo business partner the Development Team and ensure Birmingham Airport effectively discharges its client duties
- .To support the Development Team to ensure Birmingham airport contractors effectively manage their risks and the associated risks to our passenger which may arise from any works
