The Role

We’re looking for an Analysis & Insights Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across our Analysis & Insights portfolio. In this role, you will be accountable for delivering robust, high‑quality economic analysis, translating complex business and industry needs into clear analytical requirements and impactful insights. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are effectively scoped, prioritised and delivered to a high standard, while supporting others to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership across analysis and insight projects
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, impactful economic analysis
  • Translate business and industry needs into clear analytical requirements and project scopes
  • Review and approve externally funded project deliverables
  • Support and guide analysts to deliver strong technical outputs
  • Identify opportunities to maximise the impact and visibility of insights
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical standards, tools and approaches

About You

You will bring:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical, mathematical, scientific or commercial discipline
  • Strong economic and financial modelling capability
  • Experience leading, supporting or mentoring analytical work or teams
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical judgement
  • Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable, analytical work

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the renewables or energy sector
