20Twenty Search is retained by a global (re)insurance business which has a Lloyd’s platform, for which our client is seeking to hire a Deputy Finance Director. This is a dynamic role where the incumbent will be joining a department seeking to make significant operational and technological upgrades to its infrastructure as well as having day-to-day oversight of GAAP/IFRS reporting, Lloyd’s reporting, regulatory and compliance as well as investment operations. The Deputy Finance Director will be expected to challenge existing practices and be heavily involved in strategic finance projects as the department goes through a transitional phase. This role will suit a candidate who can embrace change, can take a “global” view on effective financial reporting structures and has a deep interest in technology and AI advancements.
Our client is open to candidates from the Lloyd’s market, the wider (re)insurance market as well as candidates from the Hedge Fund or Alternative Asset Management sector who are interested in a role within the Lloyd’s insurance sector.
