Air Hygiene & Fire Damper Engineer

Location: UK wide (London, Midlands, Leeds (Preferred location))

Hours: 40 hours per week (variable shifts as required)

Role Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a specialised delivery team delivering air hygiene, fire damper testing, ventilation cleaning (TR/19), and air quality tasks in line with industry regulations and client requirements.
  • Carry out servicing, inspections, analytical surveys, fire damper testing (BS:9999 & RRFSO 2005), and complete all reports accurately (manual and electronic) within agreed timeframes.
  • Follow Health & Safety policies, method statements, risk assessments, and maintain safe working practices including working at height and use of equipment, PPE, and chemicals.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and line managers while maintaining a professional, organised, and customer‑focused approach.
  • Work flexibly including variable shifts, overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays, supporting team and business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience and knowledge of fire dampers and air hygiene.
  • Able to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Ability and knowledge to use computers/PDA’s.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Full driving licence with no more than 6 current/pending points and no bans within the last 5 years.
